shipment which I unpacked myself it has not been out of my own house. I appreciate the Arts' Club giving me a free exhibition & do not wish to involve them in further annoyance, but I understand that you had insurance covering the exhibition. Can you not recover on this? There is no question that when I opened the crates on its return from Chicago the table leg was in its present condition. Very sincerely George Biddle
