Dear Miss Roullier: Since receiving your wire this noon I have written, in addition to Mr. Brewster, (whose letter I am troubling you to forward since I haven't his address) asking him for the loan of "Fullerton Orchestra (my No. 36, alternative); to Mr. Allerton, asking for "Eminent Journalist (No. 27); to Mrs. Carpenter, asking for "Car Couple" (No. 34); to Edgar Miller, asking for "Spain House Room"'; to Llewellyn Jones, asking for "The Traveling Dune"; to Harold Finder, asking for "Clark Street" (No. 37), "Rooster Man" (No. 38), "Band Concert in Oshkosh" (No. 39), and perhaps a nude; and to Pascal Covici, asking for a nude. I am mailing all these letters to-night, Special Delivery, and asking each person to notify you immediately whether or not they can loan the pictures, so I think you should hear from them in time. In each case where one of the pictures will be loaned I think it is as good as, and in most cases better than, the picture I am sending,
