he gets to remembering his 20 years he has in on his pension. Merry Ann, after 20 years at home & being the only girl in her peer group that didn't work, decided to get a job. She works at Lord & Taylor on Michigan Ave in Water Tower Place. Is in the office & counts lots of money. She likes it & has made some lovely friends.

Carol & I just finished off our

summer season of plays & musicals at the Lyric. We have now signed up for the fall & winter season of operettas & operettic plays. Always gives us something to look forward to "Never end a sentence with a prepo- sition."

  I now have 4 great-grandchildren -

2 new baby boys in 1980. There was a birthday party last nite for the little girl that is 3.

I often think of the lovely time

Joe & I had visiting with you folks in Moberly - and your nice, big home. I am well, but have some problem with poor circulation in my legs so am happy we travelled like we did, as other than day trips with a travel agency, all of my travelling is from "here to there" in a family car & I'm glad to be doing that.

Wishing you both the best of health.
                             Love, Louise
