Dear friends -

        Jerry's name came up in the

conversation tonight, and we got to wondering how all of our friends in Moberly are doing. With Spring open- ing up, suppose you are out more now. Joe's been gardening quite a little & today I noticed I can almost pick our first rhubarb for sauce. Got these plants from Carol's old house before they moved.

    I had a cataract removed on

February 13 - got along famously in a physical way, but dispare of co- ordinating the eyes with the darned glasses. But every one says "Have patience."

    You know how Carol has gained

weight over the years - well she joined T.O.P.S. club & was Queen of the Year in her group & had a grand time at the State Convention at the Sherman Hotel April 12. It is hard to keep the weight down now that she lost it. Mike is graduating from high school
