Dear Jack,

Much joy here, in bud, bloom, garden work, goats a-herding, kins a-settin, garden growing. our hot bed giveth?

lettuce & ?eing. World Eye does its thing. Lynn & I dug up septic tank line & replanted it - swiftly flows the shit. We have a 'new' 67 pick up truck, and a new farm up the line is about to go with it. Lynn is in stitches about building a new ^stone cottage in the woods! I've got stone hammers in both hands, ball & chain on feet, and I haven't gotten my best balls, yet.

We are deep in nuclear politics here: shall Franklin County have a 1.5 billion - $$ nuclear plant along the Colonial Connecticut River? most of 12%

unemployed say yes, but we others are flexing our muscles for the big NO. Middleton Conn. killed it out, can we do the same?

Thanks muchly for the Traven bit, enclosed. Who knows? most of us are content to know the books.
Working is Gig w/s?. we eve read it! Also Conroy, poems. We sell Conroy, not only because we love'im, but because he's good readin!
Do keep the faith, & keep up on your pamphlets. Lynn & Laur[?] send oodles of love, as does this old sock, between mowings. C
