postcard MARTIN'S MILL BRIDGE Near Greencastle, Penna. This covered bridge built in 1849 is one of two covered bridges still remaining in Franklyn County. It is located about one mile west of Greencastle and approximately 3 1/2 miles south of Penna. Route No. 16. The bridge spans the Conocheague Creek in Antrim Township. Since the closing of the bridge to traffic it has been turned over by the County Commissioners to an association for its preservation. The structure is 205 feet long and approximately 28 feet wide. all of the large timbers are held together with wooden pegs or dowels 2 inches in diameter.
