recd a cent of interest on either note, & the other creditors have certainly been paid interest or they would have brought suit. The total interest due on the two notes is on the two notes is $1650, making a grand total due me of $9.650.00, (nine thousand six hundred & fifty dollars) I do not want to say anything to her about this at present - but I do want you to write as if of your own motion, speak to her of this debt & urge its payment out of the very first money she gets - I am not sanguine enough to hope for a very large sum from the Rhinelanders. They are a close money- loving set & will squeeze hard. I don't know how much she owes else where & I doubt if she does, so that whatever she does get is likely soon
