day. Deer, Antelope, Bison, abound- and hunters

find grizzlies. These are the visions that are 

being held before my eyes. And then the

climate! oh such air as they have up there-
so full of life! it should be food for the Gods. 

So balmy, that I expect to see the lovely forms of the graces basking about in midair

in morning and evening twilight. So inspiring 

is the landscape of stream and valley, forest

and mountain top towering away above the 

clouds, that the thickest skull and the

hardest heart, yields to the loveliness and
Majesty of the Scene- and he talks nought
but poetry!.

Certainly- there is one charm to this

country, all are enthusiastic!

I think my newspaper editing isn't going to work. The Gov. advises me

to put all the money I can spare into
claims. Some Mills are making $2000 to $3000
per week. I will write you about the
mines by and by. Will write you
another long letter for the paper tomorrow. 

My health is first-rate. I have not
