I daily followed the blessed Lord in His travels about the country; and in my spirit I could see Him as He performed each miracle; as He sat by the well in Tamaria?; as He walked upon the sea; as He slept during the storm, during His agony in the garden of unclear, His unclear and buffeting; while being mocked and crowned with thorns, and as He hung upon the cross, and I wept scalding tears that so much innocence and holiness should thus suffer for ungrateful man, who was so utterly unworthy of the very least thought of the Almighty.
