Buttercup Farm, Feb. 15, 1899 My dear Aunties: -

 We saw by the Boonville paper sunday that mother had been sick, and we are anxious to know how she is and thinking you will be apt to know I am going to ask you as a favor, that if she is still sick you will please write, or if very sick telephone, I can come home if needed, we hopy you both keep usually well, this is a very trying winter, Mother Higby and Aunt Matilda are as well as usual Judson is going to the village today and perhaps there will be letters for us I do hope there will, we have had a hard storm for the 

sideways at top: choice seed white and red and white with mauve edges. I have a lot of the each of the common colors. Much love from Judson & Margaret.
