TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 1863. Returned to camp. Our line captured an old grey haired man, who shot at our pickets and tryed to pass. The following were detached yesterday. Corp Wm Templeton, Priceland?, Mensor?, Pettit, Meares, Rogers. They went some for ambulance drivers & some into the artillery.

WEDNESDAY 25 General inspection today, by the inspecting officer (a capt in the 150th Pa.). David Philips was promoted to be corporal in Stewarts place. (on the 14th) Lieut. Slagle has been detailed as Judge Advocate of the division

THURSDAY 26 Rained almost all day. Leith & Morrison & Gordon are detached today. Wrote to Mame Lieut Dalgleish has been detailed as aid to Gen. Stone.
