 Saw an article in the Physical Culture magazine for August entitled "How to cure appendicitis without the Knife" by Dr. Edwin F. Bowers, in which he speaks of

a Dr. Graham of New York, who gives treatments that cure alleged appendicitis, by manipulation. He speaks of one patient who had a lot of money and was operated on for chronic appendicitis - cost her $4,000.00 and left a painful scar.
