the next morning. Lot of cake of various kinds and some small candies in baskets. We donated our phonograph. Virginia is having her teeth straightened. Goes to town every Saturday.

 Am trying to make Malcolm some blouses. Guess I told you I got the stuff some time ago. Could do a lot of sewing if had more time. He needs some new mittens

and there is enough of that red yarn left to make some. Would either of you have time to knit some if I send the yarn with a drawing of his hand? Can easily buy some if you will not have time.

 Do not hear from Helen. Had better write and tell her our car is sold. Probably thinks it strange we don't drive over. The time I mentioned the car being sold, I didn't

make it clear that the 5 men had come of their own accord to assist the new owner (one of them) in putting on tires etc. Sold for $35 00. Gears worn out.
