am wondering if shall be sending it off in the customary manner next Thursday. Hope the child will be on the outside by that time.

  Have put up my washing for the Wet Wash. I live from washday to washday as it were, always hoping to be confined after the clothes are safely ironed, so as to have plenty of clean things on hand. 
  Am finishing Malcolm's second pongee blouse which I have been putting off for more important sewing. Have made up a supply of boracic acid and believe everything is all ready. 
  Have decided not to keep the cleaner. It would be nice to have it, but we will be under quite a bit of expense now, and it would be better to wait until our bank account is on the upward grade again. I understand one can rent a cleaner at the local electric shop any time, for 50¢ a half day, which is quite reasonable and used about once a month would be quite a help.
