Glad to have your good letter and thank you very much for looking up the reference to the birthday. Am pleased to have another date to look forward to. If it does not come on the 26th (a week from today) then I shall pin my faith on June 1st. I wanted it to be on the 1st of the month, anyway. Mrs. Lang said that her other patient had made arrangements with her first so of course has first claim on her. I called her up early in December but she was away, so did not get in touch with her until a little after New Year's Day. Am not worried about getting someone else - am sure I shall have no trouble. Miss Whitman, the Wheaton nurse - will be off duty and in addition I have just learned of a trained nurse (Mr. Chatteron's sister) who is married and lives near 5 Corners. She is anxious to get some local nursing and has had a number of years of
