 Lilies of the Valley are coming out; and most fruit trees have blossomed. Have had some hard rains the past few days which have been hard on them. 
  Am enclosing article by Percy Hammond which may amuse you. I thought it quite clever. Also send copy of Line which appeared in last Sunday's Tribune. I cut out all of the comments and reprints of poems which appeared when BLT died and am preserving them in the McCutcheon cartoon book where we have a number of Tribune clippings. Do not know who Pa Z is but he seems to hold up his end pretty well. Do not see the Tribune on Sunday. Have the News week days. Need not return clippings. 
 Discovered a fine recipe for Pie Plant pie in the "52 Sunday Dinners" book. It calls for 3/4 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, a little nutmeg and an egg, all to be mixed up and added to the pie plant. Was timorous about trying it at first as it seemed so strange to put an egg in, but have made several
