Dear Mum & G.M:

 V enclosed. Lovely spring day. 65º at present - 3 p.m. Have planted some sweet peas along the side porch and believe they will grow if I can keep the

dog from digging them up. Have stopped up the cat's hole with stones (he had enlarged it and was fond of retreating under the porch at times.). The ground seemed nice and rich with plenty of angle worms and signs of manure. Seems to me Max put some on there last fall.

 Am thinking of having a telephone put in as may need it when Tunsilu is born. Expect to walk over to inquire how soon it can be installed, when I go to mail this.

Did a big ironing this morning and some darning. Then washed breakfast and lunch dishes and made two pies. Should do some cleaning this afternoon, but when I am on my feet or bending
