Dearest Mum:

 Enclosed find check - a little late, but gives me an opportunity to answer your letter which I found in the box this morning.

Do not think you need worry about the tights fitting Malcolm. They are stretchable, and besides these corduroys were unusually small and quite stiff. Will limber up when washed. The six year size fits him pretty well - not more than half an inch too long in the leg and none too large in the waist.

 When in town last Tuesday, tried to get the yarn you wanted but they did not have it. Expect to go in tomorrow and will then
