  We haven't corresponded for some time.  How are you?
  I have charge of the English division of the fall institute on Mon., Oct. 18, at Oak Lawn Community High School or at Bremen (I think Oak Lawn.)  About 150 English teachers will be present.  It will be afternoon or morning that I'm asking you about.  I'll give more details soon.   Could I get you to make a talk about writing, for about an hour with a few questions at the end if you'd like.  We can pay $50.  I'll tell you more later when
