Art Dept/UMR/Rolla June 8, 1984 Dear Grand Jack,

I sure had a big time on Jack Conroy Day. It was a real GIFT to everybody. I've been up to my ears in schemes, dreams, and nightmares since then - and some canoeing. You said to send you some poems so here are poems, proses, and sundry lists of a poetical nature. I hope you enjoy them.
Some day soon I think a troubador named Bob Dyer will make a pilgrimage to see you. Get him to sing.
I'm scheming a book about Tom Benton and would sure like to hear your views & stories about the man who made the most exciting room this side of the Sistine Chapel.
Keep your eye-light bright, you old Beacon.

Jim Bogan
