I was gone from Moberly for thirty years living in a stimulating environment with opportunities to travel and to speak to audiences interested in wide fields. I had the pleasure of hearing Hamlin Garland, Pearl Buck, Vachel Lindsay, & Carl Sandburg Lorado Taft, Stephen Leacock, Charles A Beard Stricken Gilliland, Dorothy Thompson John G. Neihardt, Glen Frank and a number of others while on the faculty. I attended a story writers' workshop in Evanston conducted by Rowena Bennett about the time you were there. Please know how proud I am of your advancement from the time you were a Moberly school boy. Pardon, if this all seems boresome.
