Dear Jack, I've thought of you often I wanted to write of all these printed goodies from you, off & on. Now here's your Christmas note & I'm glad to hear. Also I'm late because I've just got my Jimmie home from hospital, again - in & out this year, but we're ever hopeful, & he's better. He managed to make "Funny Lady" (B. Streisand) in spring & summer, & in fall was honored by the S.F. Film Festival. Lots of honors coming in & all deserved. But it's sad to see him ill. I report no work worth mentioning the whole year, but a hard year. Did write you the Country Book Club of England selected "Owl"? So had an extra 6,000 edition & a third hardcover & one paperback. I've started a new book, and hope to do more this yr. No, I did not see the Nation review of "Writers in Revolt" & sorry I missed it. But glad it was good. All your chapters being published
