Dear Jack -

  Here's Hebo (pop. 51) center of the cosmos.  We have some acres 5 mi. from here where I work when not teaching.   Let us indeed dazzle them all with our perspicaste & wit, come spring to the Foolkiller Theater.  Best how do I get there, now poor as a grad. student?
  New Letters rejects my poems with cowardly anonymous notes.  I thought they knew genius when they saw it.  Pray instruct them.
  Just back from a reading tour in Washington.  En route had my car wiped out totally in a crash that I, divinely, survived.  So it goes!
  New work just in (or taken by) American Review, Counter/Measures, Michigan Q., New Republic, Shenandoah, Texas Q. among others.  So things are coming together at last.
  Would like some readings out your way.  Maybe one of these days.  Here's a vita if you know anybody to lay it on.
