postcard postmark ?DAMOGLI? GENOA 12-18 21 - V 1984 Ames, ℅ G. Parmentier, 58 rue Montcalm Paris, 18eme 21 May Dear Jack & Gladys,

This is a pleasant place out of the high tourist season and relatively inexpensive if you don't demand sandy beaches - They have stony small beaches here. We're playing some tennis, swimming, for a change. Till now our tour has been chiefly devoted to eating, motoring, eating, walking text obscured by stamp streets, drinking, museums, and eating.
The above address is OK for about 3 months though we'll be in England and Scotland half the time. So far we've been in Paris, Nice, Pisa, Siena, Florence, Rome, Palermo, Venice; at Olympia, Knossus, Pergamum, Troy (a bust not a must!) and in Rhodes, Istanbul, Athens, and Dobrovnik (beautiful, cheap). Hope you are fine R & Jean (near Genoa)
