went home with Mildred for a week or so. Mrs. Sikes reminded me that Hallowe'en is next and they will be after me. Everybody was very nice and helpful and I had a good time, But I ate something that burned my stomach so it felt on fire. I didn't eat supper, but took my bath and went to bed about seven o'clock. Drank a lot of water and soon went to sleep. Feel fine this a.m.

The beautiful socks, the m.o. for $15 and your dear letter came promptly. So glad your plane trips were pleasant, and that you felt rested after your vacation. With me

it is a delicious memory. Next time, if I'm still alive, you must come a little later so you can take in the Old Settler's 3rd Wed in Oct - and the Hallowe'en festival.

  Much, much love, Mother.
