Tuesday evening, and raining.

 I did no hard work today as it was town election and  was taken in to vote about ten. Washed my hair before that.

This afternoon before a heavy shower, I drowned the old white Angora tomcat that has been hanging around here for several days, full of fleas and mange. I had asked two men to do away with him, but they were too chicken hearted. So I concluded I'd have to do it myself. Funny how a woman can do things a man can't.
