4/ Mildred is to drive Helen Mann's car to Miami where Helen is to spend two weeks with one of her daughters, and Mildred takes the plane for Puerto Rico. While they were here I called up Mrs. Eva Moore, the woman who takes care of Mrs Charlie Krause. The reply is that she is o.k., eats much, not confined to her bed but walks around her place.

 It's turning colder 57 [degrees] now at 7:10 p.m. Had a small fire yesterday as it rained all day and much of today. - I turned on one of the heaters for a few minutes and the dining room is comfortable.
Another letter from Junior, nothing of importance in it except that he goes in for six months training Feb. 1st. He wrote rather hurriedly just after coming home from school. He wrote that his mother was sewing on a skirt or shirt and their two dogs was watching her.
 I have only two cats now. Bookie's two, a calico cat,  Jimmie, and big fat Toby, a typical tom -much admired by all visitors.
