perfect, and our spirits high -- until mine fell when I found out that Mr. Davis had on a pair of ill-fitting shoes, that he was suffering from the heat, and the effects of an operation of two months ago. If I had known of his hospitalization so recent, I wd not have consented to take the trip - I came through it in fine shape and feel fine this morning.
