 Your letter with V enclosed, came yesterday. Many thanks!  the bill was only $3.68 - and I mailed then the stub and forgot to write the check. Have just written it, and ready to mail.
 Yesterday abt. Noon the Old Age Assistance lady, Mrs. Ethel L. Williamson came - I was baking cookies and bread. Took the cookies out and put in the bread - and promptly

forgot it. The buns were burned worse than the bread, but both had a lot of charcoal on bottom. she said she would see you when you are here instead of writing. Of course I had to give information abt. everything the $28.00 monthly, amt. in chking acc -: amt on dept in Gary, Wheaton, taxes, apt. insurance, fruit and the fact that I have no income. She will probably quiz you with the prospect of worming out of you that you have enough to support all of your relatives, so be prepared. I think there will be no hindrance to
