Mrs. May Walden 420 West Bell street Avon Park, Fla. April 5, 1955 -

Darling Tafern,

Last evening Mr. Gauntt paid last week's rent with $7 00 and said he couldn't do any more as he gets only $36 00 a week. I told him we'd let it stand at that for the

present, but I'd have to cut off his hot water - which I did. Mrs. Renfro told me several days ago that Mr. Renfro's sister, whom I've never met, wants to get a place to live and she will see her soon and bring her over to look at the apt.

Bookie showed up Friday and has every day since. Mrs. Riffle told me yesterday that my old cat (Bookie) had kittens in her hen house. I went, found two, white male

and colored female, abt 2 weeks old. Brought them over to the garage and installed them as of yore, in a canned milk box for a nursery in the far corner of the garage. All seems satisfied thus far. But Lady, the white young cat, has been ailing the past few days. I found a quantity of matted hair that she had evidently thrown up, so I presume that is the cause. Mrs Seaverus told

on side A white single hibiscus in bloom. Wm the postman identified with a high sounding name. They are all doing well.
