21. Early in the morning came to Robins ferry 45 miles from Cincinnati. the settlement is placed on the Eastern bank of the river, from which is shipped considerable quantities of cotton. Through this place runs the old road from San Antonio to Nacogdoches. The Cane grows in great luxurience upon the banks, showing that the soil is rich and well adapted for Cotton, Sugar Tobacco, &c.
