When on the leg the cross is in front and at the outer side hangs the tassle. which consists of four long strips of buckskin wrapped with red quills. with a [?] of purple. and the ends finished by tin cones bearing red feathers Attached to the upper band at either end are thongs of buckskin with which it is tied to the leg.
