In the morning he entertained them from these words "Salvation is of the Lord," (Jonah II. 9) In the afternoon from words of the great Apostle of the Gentiles, "Brethren pray for us". (I. Thess. V. 25) For the third service, in the Evening he preached to his flock as a dying man, to dying men from those words of the royal Psalmists, "Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling." (Psal. II. 11).
