   I suceeded in getting a very pretty coppy of Bryants Poems. for 7 shilling blue cover and gilt edges. It is just the size I like. Longfellow is in to name?.
   I am very glad that I went to Utica I feel so much better. I slept at cousins Mary's that night and rested very well only I was some weary about you. I had a pretty bad spell of heart beat in the evening but it did not last a great while. 
   Give a great deal of love to Bro. Butler and Elizabeth and the children, and accept as much yourselves. Baby is full of his little tricks this morning? I asked him if I should tell unclear Mary and aunt Cynthia that he loves them. Mother told him, say yes and he noded his little head as if he knew all about it.
