I spent yesterday after noon doing the city, the churches etc. & it was fortunate for I had little time today.

Devoted morning to writing letters. Genl & party came down to Hotel to lunch with Erb. All lunched together then went to the Tabernacle. I stood the nonsensical gabble for an hour & left. Went down to Lake - pleasant ride. beautiful colors of water at sunset. Tame
