Mohave Station on Special Car Sepr 11th 1883 Took an early breakfast then carriage to Depot. Hitched our car on to the 9.05 train & arrived at Los Angeles 10 am where we were met by Genl Boughton & wife & a Mr Lynch editor of a paper in carriages into which we were taken & driven about the city until 1 pm then taken to the Pico House & entertained with a wondrous lunch.
