My Dear Children here I am just waiting for Jane to get ready to go It is a much more fine & pleasant place here than I expected to see I think it must be delightful in the Summer season. Mr. P. is very ? & ? very agreeable in conversation - has a vein of humour about him is rather precise never does any work except to take his horse will have a good horse has a 4 wheel'd Chaise or Carraige a Common wagon or Gig & nice cover'd Sleigh

Mr. P. is very lady like well bred as kind & attentive a possible doing every thing for every body in the most polite manner
A very Convenient house very comfortable & completely furnished Isaac & Nettie keep house i.e. he provides and she directs the household. I thought best that Nettie should take the Charge & Mrs. P. was willing as she needed rest however she does & will keep doing taking care of the babies or something. Mr. P. leads in family worship in the morning & Isaac at night. I have wonder'd why Isaac was unwilling to in the family at Milo as he did in his Chamber after they retir'd to bed

I had written the above a long time ago when at Dunbarton & put it in my port folio to finish another time & forgot all about it - perhaps I have written the same in some of my letters that I have sent but no matter It will do no harm to write a little more on the same sheet
