Aug. 2, 59 or 60 Dear Nettie

I am very sorry your Father and Mother are so unwell hope they will be better soon. - Do not feel anxious about us at home at all - we are all getting along nicely. The Girls seem to want to do well but you know Zillah forgets sometimes a little. A few days just after you went away it was very hot weather & my anxiety about baby and household matters made me rather weary & restless a few days, - But have got a little used to it now & we all think manage better & better.

The little boys do nicely - I have been

up with & wash'd them, both & seen them into bed every night & without them being angry or crying once - W. went down to Dr's Friday came home Saturday P.M as soon as he got into the house he said

across top, sideways your fucia has budded and the hydrangea has grown 6 or 8 inches many new leaves came out since I cut off the great blossom. I wish I could hand you a pail full of the nice Lawton Blackberries.

Much love and respect to your parents and your Brother From your ever loving Mother
