I have written one letter which you had not got when you wrote last - You say about my going to Elyria - I should love to go but would it be right - I have been hoping lately that Sam'l will leave Percie with me at Milo this coming summer - If he will consent to that -& then I could go to Elyria & take him with me in the fall i.e. if I am alive & well it would just suit me - & Eliab says he will go with me in the fall - but Sam'l says he knows he wont - & it seems to me that he cant

March 1st 1857 Seventy years - How short they seem - Seventy years I have been the constant recipient of innumerable blessings! & what have I rendered - what but sin & folly O the love of God - the unspeakable riches of his mercy His long suffering & tender mercy - Praise - Praise Eternal glory to his Name
3rd I thought to have finished this before now but I waited supposing that I could inform you of the coming of another little responsibility by this time Eliab has been waiting & dare not go (as he wants to very much) to Boston
