Dear Isaac Tho' I have sent one letter to you that you have not answer'd I feel inclin'd to tell you about our disappointment at not seeing Charles - there have been so many little things that have been waiting for him to remedy and rectify - nothing great to be sure only that Walter is sick & somewhat discourag'd and Albina is so impatient so unreconcil'd & fretted it perhaps makes him more so I dont know what to do I've been talking talking to try to reconcile all round but I am only an old woman and not worth minding & am a great deal too apt to speak my opinion I often think I will reform in that thing but shall keep failing to do it Charles is apt to hang on and stick to any piece of work he gets about just because he wants to see the result or end there of and he and perhaps you for him, ought to guard against it but what I feel the most about is the fear that he will get sick -
