Springfield, Ill. and Locust Hill care of G.B. Root Perry Co. which last it seems was "not quite right- We have not heard a word from Ann Since Eliab left here a week ago last Monday and we have not had a letter from him yet he is not generally so good about writing as you. They were all, as usual. at Milo when we heard from there We wrote you how Charles was here went to Buckland to Temperance Meeting - & Mr. Lee Stop't here on his way to Ms. to open the summer, & Alice Sargent & Isaac Hoxie just from Wisconsin. Mr. Harlow is very kind carries me to meeting for which we feel quite obliged as it is rather far for me to walk

Do you get Eastern papers or learn much of what is doing here, where you are now. Do be taking measures to get on some of the Eastern roads if you can I am afraid to have you stay there
