I dont know what you'll do for money. I have been trying & trying to get C. to tell what he is going to do about it but he says as he always does- he dont know- I have bang'd him - he says he means to pay as soon as he can will drive his best cow and line back to Bangor if it is best, but thinks he cannot get at this time of year near thier value. How would it do for you to hire the money  for 3-6 or 12 months and he pay it. I would give him a little more time what interest Should you have to give - he says his credit is not so good and he should have to give 25 per cent.

I want dreadfully that you should come right home and stay 2 or 3 months if it could be best for you but I suppose you need to be doing something or trying to do something to set yourself agoing in the world. I long to have you get into something or other where you must steadily & faithfully and constantly apply yourself for I am really afraid that your desultory habits of reading, Study and every thing else is going to be the ruin of your Character if you dont take care
