5. Helping Hand Mission. I'll have to put off telling about it tho.

The lady where Arthur Fordlaw? stayed put us up a lovely luncheon for the trip home. He wanted her too and it was all right. And he and I and Amy Chambers and Ray and Paul ate together (Paul was sick tho and ate only limewater & milk but he was able to set up with us). Amy Ch. is the older of the two dear lovely Irish girls who are here. Both are Miss. Volunteers Miss Amy almost went on to China with H. Taylor & Miss Guiness. They wanted to take her. But there was not time to tell her parents, and she thot she ought to go under Irish auspices too, for the sake of the people at home. But she will go probably within a year.

Last Thurs. night Miss McDonald went to Police meeting with me and we sang a duet. And after it I went to the next to last Apollo Club concert with Mr. Gordon. It was only male chorus this time and was just wonderful too Oh they did sing beautifully. And Henri Marteau played the violin to make you weep or dance. Oh beautiful
