Chicago April 2" 1888 H.B. Stone Esq Manager C.B. & Q RR City Dear Sir Following please find reports of Opr. M.J. March 30" 1888 Went to vicinity of general offices and met Finney a striking switchman who was engaged in trying to entice some of the crew men brought here from the East, unclear to go to work. He succeeded in getting a man named Pat Davenport to go over to the brotherhood's on unclear Ave and unclear St. Opr then went to the Britstol Hotel and remained there till noon. At 2 P.M. Opr went to the Hall at 14th & Jefferson Sts.
