H. for July 27th, 28th & 29th Friday July 27th 1888 Today in Galesburg Lieut. in company with Opr. C.W. spent the day in looking for evidence in the case against Clark and Miley, but learned nothing new. Saturday July 28th 1888 Today in Galesburg Lieut. went around as usual looking for evidence against Geo Clark and Geo Miley but the citizens will have nothing to say about the case and the moment they are approached on the subject they will turn the conversation to something else. Supt. Rice and Opr. C.W. will be in Chicago to-morrow to see as to which will be the best way to get Miley out of here. Sunday July 20th 1888
