Opr inquired if any one knew when the Committee would meet here. and learned that no one know. or would know until Hoge and Murphy returned here and made their report. they say every thing rests with Hoge and Murphy. as a good many men are of the opinion that Hoge could have settled this Trouble before now if he had wanted to Scott said that Stone would have to resign his position with the Burlington if the Directors could get any other Man to Step in and run the Road Straighten up with the men and have them all return to work. Flynn spoke up and said he would be satisfied to see if 1/2 of the men back and the men arrested let go with the Exceptions of Bowles and Smith - he wanted to see those S-s of B-s strung up Then scott wanted Opr to come and attend the Trial at the Armory this morning, so they took Op up there. and found the Trial put off until Afternoon. They returned to the Hotel and remained there until 1 p.m. Op then left and called back at 2 p.m. found the same men there with Bowles telling them that Bowles, his brother, cannot be blamed for this trouble. Although he said "(if. My Brother") had not come out and told what he knew he would have him out of Prison in a day or two, after he gave the thing away. and he then said that he did not know where the thing would End. Opr and the balance of the party they went to the armory and remained there during the Trial. While
