Saturday July 14 '88 Today at National Hotel. There were a great many callers today to see Hage and Murphy and among them was Bowles' Brother who had a long consultation with Hage in the Hall near Hage's room. J G? Bowles comes from Logansport Indiana they are all very bitter against the US Commissioner and the way they claim he ruled against them there were several (([unknown])) few were here who seem to take great interest in the trial and who are very bitter against Kelley and all who are reported to have made confessions after the trial before the Commissioner Hages' room was crowded with them all expressing their opinion as to the result
