Report In Chicago today Opr. meet Sanderson, Delucey Sheehan and Gillick and Gelleck told Opr. they were discouraged, that every move they made so far was a failure and the company seemed to know their plans as quick as they did them themselves and they were depending primarily on the switchmen and they were going back on them. Opr says a machinist who works for the C.B. and Q and boards with him says the machinists in the shops would just as soon see the strikers downed as not. His name is unclear unclear He also said "they seemed to think they only had to demand any sort of wages and receive it." Opr says the strikers are only hoping that the company will meet them half way and compromise in some way Opr could not learn any more and discontinued.
