So a man was stationed at this door and there was no chance for any one to get in this door as Opr unclear was there. I then fell in with a man named Bailey this man is among the strikers and a very bitter fellow, he is also the slugger for the Switchman and is a great talker. Opr. had a talk with this man Bailey in a Livery Stable where Opr. is acting as a Horse Trader. Opr. got Bailey talking about the fire where he stated he was one of the first to get to the fire and saw the scabs comming out of the burning building. Hickey says the fire was not set by any one as it was too early in the evening where the fire broke out and thee was to many police around so that anyone setting the fire would stand a poor show of getting away. Hickey said well they did give the scabs hell while they were getting out of the building. Hickey said unclear their as bad as I hate them. Opr stopped up late to night but nothing occured. It is very hard for Opr, to get close to these
