CP Report of C. Peterson Chicago April 22nd/88

After meeting Supt. McGinn this morning at the usual place, I went to the meet my Railroad Friends in the vicinity of State 8. 18th Strs. I met Capt Dulacey Gillick & unclear. They tell me that there is nothing of importance on foot. That they are waiting for the meeting of The Company Officials to take place and are in hopes that Mr. Stone will not be reelected. That some of other man will be put in his place & will make some consessions to them. Meet them half way in what Delacey says. They are willing to do now unless that the company insisted on their going back & giving in to them. They will hold out as long as they have a dollar left in the Treasury & can get what they added each of the Engineers & Firemen for. That there is where the Grand Kick will be made, when the next assessment is made. There has been several donations made. one by Eastern Engineers & Firemen.
